SportsTrace turns game and practice video into ways for athletes and coaches to train smarter. We intend to be the primary analytics provider for sports. We take video and provide insights. Our mission is to empower any athlete or coach, anywhere and on any budget, to achieve more. As a team, we are a group of collaborative mentors that supports one another. We are constantly learning, constantly growing, and operating in the most agile way possible. We do this with nothing more than video and an internet connected device.

DevOps Engineer
Role Description
SportsTrace is looking for talented DevOps Engineer (Entry Level) to join our team remotely. For this particular role, we are looking for BS who have 0-3 years of experience working in an Azure CI/CD environment. You’ll be a core part of a team that’s passionate about systems thinking, amplifying feedback loops, and continual experimentation and learning. In this role, you’ll have a broad field of influence and work alongside multi-functional teams, automating data center & cloud operations, crafting tools, improving CI/CD pipelines, evangelizing cloud internally, and assisting development teams with their monitoring/alerting/response processes.Responsibilities
- Building infrastructure to power new services or expand existing ones
- Building capabilities that shorten MTTR for code shipment
- Developing standard methodologies for using cloud technologies with development
- teams (we use and love AWS)
- Improving methodologies for managing and maintaining a handful of physical networking and servers in data centers
- Pioneering the use of a new feature of our cloud or in our data centers.
- Improving existing DevOps practices
- Diving into an app’s mysterious behavior with an Application Development Team
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Azure is a must, GIT is a must
- An intermediate understanding of some development language (our team mostly uses Python, and we also use Bash scripts, C#, SQL)
- Advanced abilities to operate and manage Linux (other posix flavors are acceptable)
- Strong skills with building CI/CD pipelines
- A good understanding of a configuration management tool (we use Ansible and CloudFormation)
- Working experience in a role where the business runs on a cloud, and you have been responsible for portions of leading the use of that cloud
- Working knowledge and understanding of Docker and container management techniques
- Experience with Information Security practices and principles
- You are curious about serverless based approaches to application development and you are always learning and experimenting in the field

SportsTrace is looking for talented Data Scientist (Entry Level) to join our team remotely. For this particular role, we are looking for BS/MS who have 0-3 years of experience working with R, Python, SQL, etc. Data Scientist must have strong experience using a variety of data mining/data analysis methods, using a variety of data tools, building and implementing models, using/creating algorithms and creating/running simulations. They must have a proven ability to drive business results with their data based insights. They must be comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders and functional teams.Qualifications
- Experience using statistical computer languages (R, Python, SLQ, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.
- Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.) and their real-world advantages/drawbacks.
- Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests and proper usage, etc.) and experience with applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams.
- We’re looking for someone with 1-2 years of experience manipulating data sets and building statistical models, has a Master’s or PHD in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or another quantitative field, and is familiar with the following software/tools:
- Knowledge and experience in statistical and data mining techniques: GLM/Regression, Random Forest, Boosting, Trees, text mining, social network analysis, etc.

SportsTrace is looking for talented Platform Sales Consultant to join our team remotely. For this particular role, we are seeking individuals that match our current team culture.
Our Sales Consultants sell SportsTrace products using technical, organizational, competitive, and customer knowledge to influence customers and consult with them to choose the best software to meet their business goals and result in revenue generation and ROI.
Responsibilities
- Close sales to prospective clients adhering to our high-performance standard of productivity including lead follow up and outbound calls.
- Meet aggressive sales volume and profitability goals.
- Provide information about SportsTrace products and services by developing mastery of the SportsTrace platform and it’s evolving features.
- Manage, organize, and update the SportsTrace database as a result of our lead generation efforts, events, as well as inbound and outbound sales efforts.
- Provide demos via webinar to prospective clients which results in sales standards being met consistently, every day, week and month.
- Make outbound calls to new trial users and introduce SportsTrace to them.
- Help our potential clients understand how SportsTrace can solve their everyday business challenges.
- Take Inbound appointments with new potential clients.
- Respond to live chats with potential clients.
- Manage your own contact pipeline.
Qualifications
- 2 years experience in real estate SAAS or related vertical REQUIRED
- Experience working in sports-related businesses preferred
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. CRM background a plus.
